Employee Background Checks

In today’s competitive environment, making a hiring decision involves more than simply reviewing an application and spending brief time interviewing the applicant. In order to ensure that your business hires the best and most qualified applicants for the job, it is critical that you take steps to verify that the information provided on the application is true and accurate and that the background and history of the applicant is thoroughly challenged to ensure there are no issues such as a criminal history. SESCO Management Consultants provides background checks for our clients.

Package 1 — Hourly / Entry Level – $75.00
A thorough, easy-to-use background check appropriate for all hourly and entry level employees. A social security trace is utilized to identify an applicant's possible residential history for a period of seven years. We then check each county where the applicant has resided for felonies and misdemeanor convictions and run a federal criminal check in the jurisdiction of residence. Finally, we expand the geographic reach of our research to include a nationwide criminal database search covering approximately 96% of the U.S. population.

Package 2 — Drivers / Sales / Field – $95.00
Appropriate for employees who drive as part of their job responsibilities, as well as individuals who travel and work independently. A driving record search may reveal information that some courts do not classify as criminal, such as alcohol related offenses. Includes all services from package 1, plus a driving record for the state of issue.

Package 3 — Professional/Management with Financial Responsibility– $160.00
When the success of your business is at stake, get the facts you need to make the most informed decisions. Our package 3 background check is a key component in evaluating executive hires, business acquisitions or new vendor relationships. Includes all services from package 2, plus Federal Bankruptcy records.

Package 4 — Professional / Management– $240.00
Ensure that degrees, credentials and certifications are authentic and current. This background check is designed for hiring managers and technical workers as well as promoting from within. Includes all services from package 3, plus a verification of the highest-level degree as well as up to two certificates.

Credit checks are available separately for $30, if lawful in your particular state.
