Revised EEOC Regulations Require NEW Federal Posters
October 29, 2009
The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has revised its "Equal Employment Opportunity is the Law" poster to reflect changes required by the employment provisions of the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act (GINA), which becomes effective November 21, 2009.
GINA protects applicants and employees from discrimination based on genetic information in hiring, promotion, discharge, pay, fringe benefits, job training, classification, referral, and other aspects of employment.
SESCO has revised our "five-in-one" and "six-in-one" federal posters to reflect the new EEOC requirements. The "five-in-one" poster includes these federal posters:
Fair Labor Standards Act (minimum wage) — revised
Equal Employment Opportunity (EEOC) — revised
OSHA
Uniformed Services Employment & Reemployment Rights Act (military leave)
Employee Polygraph Protection Act
Employers with 50 or more employees will order our "six-in-one" poster which includes the posters listed above plus the poster for the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA).
These new SESCO "all-in-one" laminated posters are available for $14.95 each plus shipping and may be ordered from our online publications store or by clicking on the link below. We also have available state posters for $14.95 per set.
