VETS-100 and VETS-100A Reports Due September 30, 2010

September 15, 2010

Each year the U. S. Department of Labor (DOL), Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS) collects from federal contractors and subcontractors information on the number of employees in their workforces who belong to the categories of veterans protected under the affirmative action provisions of the Vietnam Era Veterans' Readjustment Assistance Act.

If you have a federal government contract or subcontract in the amount of $100,000 or more that was entered into or modified on or after December 1, 2003, you must submit the VETS-100A Report.

The report required for contractors or subcontractors with federal contracts that were entered into before December 1, 2003 and have a value of $25,000 or more continues to be the VETS-100 Report. Contractors and subcontractors that have contracts which fall into both categories are required to file both forms.

Both the VETS-100A Report and the VETS-100 Report must be submitted during the reporting period beginning August 1, 2010 and ending September 30, 2010. The Department of Labor (DOL) encourages contractors and subcontractors to submit the reports online at https://vets100.vets.dol.gov. However, mailed reports and properly formatted disk submissions are also acceptable.
